Little Debbie 100 Calorie Snack Cake Review & GIVEAWAY!!!

Recently I was given the chance by McKee Foods to sample their Little Debbie line of 100 Calorie Snack Cakes. I have mentioned in the past that my opinion of diet food or foods that hype up the "low in calories" label is not very high, either it is tasteless but the portion size is great or it is delicious but the portion size is pathetic so you end up eating 3 or 4 portions and in the end never really cut any calories.

Little Debbie 100 Calorie Cakes were portioned small and my first reaction at seeing them was "damn these look good, but aww man, this is not gonna be good I am going to want to eat the whole box". After eating one though my mind has been changed about small portion size meaning you eat more. The Little Debbie Cakes were small but packed a powerful wallop to the taste buds. Even if you are not watching calories you will want to eat these, if you are watching calories and wish for a filling snack, then these are the way to go.

I was able to taste their Lemon, Cookies & Cream, Vanilla and Chocolate 100 Calorie Cakes. They were very rich and very flavorful, a couple of bites and I was completely satisfied, of course to be honest, I am not a big dieter and have no will power at all so I did finish nearly the whole box of vanilla cakes in one shot, but it has everything to do with how tasty they were and nothing to do with their size. I constantly complain about having to explain to people that "no, I am not on my way to the beach, that is not an inner tube around my stomach but rather my awkwardly shaped body that came from giving birth to two children" , they then proceed to tell me that I had my last child 5 years ago so admit I have both love handles (or is it muffin tops on women, or how about the gender neutral gut!) and no will power. Well, will power be damned because I found these 100 Calorie Cakes, I can now eat an entire box of dessert cakes in one sitting and not feel guilty, maybe I can feel sick to my stomach since they are very rich and tasty, but hey if I could find a bottle of low fat Tums I would have nothing to worry about!
